“All ethics so far evolved rest upon a single premise: that the individual is a member of a community of interdependent parts. His instincts prompt him to compete for his place in the community, but his ethics prompt him also to
co-operate”.

Aldo Leopold - A Sand County Almanac
This year we’re offering three full season options for our CSA shareholders to choose from with an additional option to purchase two harvest weeks at the end of the season.

The 20-week plan:
This plan includes 20 weeks of produce beginning in mid June and continuing every week through the end of October. In addition to the fresh produce you’ll receive two pre-season newsletters and 20 additional in-season newsletters to accompany your CSA box. The 20 newsletters will be delivered via email a day before your scheduled pick up date. The pre-season newsletters will come by email in late January and sometime in May. This plan is for larger families, 4 or more, or for those who eat a lot of produce. A lot of two or three person families share a 20-week box with another family. The 20-week share is the best value price wise per box. Please see our printable CSA sign up sheet for pricing.

The 18-week plan:
Based on my season ending survey some shareholders find 20 weeks a bit too long, therefore the 18 week plan starts one week later than the 20 week plan and ends one week earlier. You will still receive both pre-season newsletters and the full 20 weeks of in-season newsletters. Please see our printable CSA sign up sheet for a delivery matrix that will help illustrate our delivery schedule.

The 10-week plan:
The 10-week plan begins the same week as the 20-week plan; but deliveries are every other week for the entire season, all pre and in-season newsletters are included. This plan is for smaller families who can’t eat an entire box of produce in a week. Mostly families of one or two who love fresh produce but have smaller appetites choose this plan.

The Holiday Option:
New this year we’re offering an additional two weeks of fresh produce after the season ends in late October. These two boxes will include root vegetables, winter squash varieties including pie pumpkins, onions, potatoes, salad greens, garlic etc, about 12 to 15 items. The harvest boxes will be delivered to your home the third week of November and December to correspond with both the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays’. This plan is for shareholders of the 20, 18, or 10-week plans, not an a la carte option. Please see CSA sign up sheet for pricing.
